BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Bishop J. Alan Neal

Bishop J. Alan Neal is the visionary leader and Senior Pastor of Agape Christian Faith Center located in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany. He is also the Chairman & CEO of Elijah’s Bread Ministers, Inc [EBM] founded primarily to evangelize and provide support to the many un-reached people groups within the 10/40 Window. Through his local church and EBM, Bishop has planted and oversees over 200 churches in two continents and seven countries [Germany, England, The Netherlands, Italy, Japan, Sri Lanka, and South India].

A native of Lexington, Kentucky; he received his early Christian education and training in the Baptist Church. His secular education began in the Lexington Public School System; he later attended Western Kentucky University at Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration in 1977. Immediately upon graduation, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. He also earned his Masters of Public Administration-Comptroller degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Missouri in 1989. In 2005 the Saint Thomas Christian College conferred upon him an honorary Doctor’s of Divinity in recognition of his significant apostolic and global ministry contributions.

In April 1995, he founded the Agape Christian Faith Center. AGAPE Christian Faith Center became the first church in Europe to partner with the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. In July 1996, he was appointed by Bishop Paul S. Morton and the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International’s Bishops Council to Oversee the Full Gospel Baptist Churches throughout Europe. In November 1998, Bishop Morton and the Bishop’s Council consecrated him to the Bishopric; In July of 2006 Bishop Morton elevated him to his Executive Council of Bishops.

The phenomenal physical and spiritual growth of the ministry in Europe mandated his full attention; therefore, he retired from a distinguished twenty-year military career as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army to completely focus on the ministry. He is a highly decorated combat veteran who fully understands the Art of war, discipline, and leadership. Bishop Neal has refocused this unique talent and experience toward taking Full Gospel to the uttermost parts of the world. His passion to evangelize and plant churches throughout Europe and Asia, coupled with his increasing influence in both regions made his decision to live overseas permanently much easier. Impregnated with vision for ministry and equipping church leadership, Bishop Neal continues to avail himself to the move of the Holy Spirit, while God continues to literally open doors around the world for him to share vision, challenge men to raise the standard, and inspire churches to prepare for the end-time harvest.

Bishop Neal is married to the former Wanda Jacqueline Harris of Kansas, City Missouri; their two daughters Robin and Leslie are both married and reside in Dallas, Texas and Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany, respectively.
